Check out the Culture Festival that was hosted by UNICEF and held on May 18th here at WHS! The students did an excellent job of organizing the event and preparing the tables and we plan to make this an annual event.
Calling All Parents!
Please help us to make the Senior Sunset and Senior Picnic a great success! These are both senior ony events but we do need the parents help to make it happen.
Senior Sunset: Monday June 3, 7:30PM Williams Stadium
Senior Picnic: Thursday June 6, 12pm after graduation rehearsal.
As is the Williams tradition, our 2024 Seniors will be treated to food and drinks on the front after graduation rehearsal. The seniors have also requested to have some fun "field day" type games! You will see some of these items listed and other items we will borrow. You don't have to be a senior parent or a PTSO member to help us keep this tradition going! If you don't have time to shop we can email you a paypal link and we will purchase items for you!

What a spectacular evening at the Williams High School Art Show last night! 🎨✨ The school gym was transformed into a breathtaking gallery, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of our student artists.
From striking visual art pieces and intricate pottery to captivating photographs and thought-provoking videography, the exhibition was a true feast for the senses. Adding to the experience, a few student artists were creating masterpieces live before our very eyes! 🖼️
A huge shout-out to the Williams art teachers, Elizabeth Wooten and Emily Brinskelle, photographer teacher John Upchurch, and videography teacher Julie Moore, whose guidance and inspiration have nurtured such remarkable artistic abilities in our students. The talent on display was simply staggering!
Awards day is May 23, 2024. Parents, please arrive prior to 9:00 AM.
Current 11th and 12th grade students who have registered for a summer Alamance Community College Course, those ACC courses start Monday, May 20th. Also please check your ACC email for final instructions.
CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is a core component of the IB Diploma Program. In addition to seeking experiences in these areas and reflecting on them, all IB seniors complete a CAS project. One such senior, Alana Moon, combined the strands of Creativity and Service to create a beautiful and motivational mural wall on the third floor hallway. As you can see the process was not without its hiccups, but with each obstacle came an opportunity to adapt and grow!
May 23 is the senior awards ceremony. All seniors should attend & need to wear full graduation attire. (You should wear your cap, gown, stole, and tassel. You should wear either a dress that is no longer than the gown, or dress pants and a dress shirt. Dress shoes are preferred.)
Our students have amazing work and would love for you to see it!
