Attention Juniors and Seniors who signed up to take a course at Alamance Community College during your registration meeting in March, please be sure to check your school email regarding important information about individual counseling sessions with an Alamance Community College advisor. You must sign up and select ACC courses with the ACC advisor to continue the registration process. If you signed up to take an Alamance Community College course next year for the first time, there will be an important information session on Monday, April 22nd during Bulldog Time in the Media Center. If you are unable to attend, please contact your assigned school counselor.
The Environmental Systems & Societies course is a trans-disciplinary course that integrates physical and biological sciences, coupled with a societal viewpoint, in order to help students understand the environment and its sustainability. The purpose of this course is to expose students to the interrelationships of the environment and societies, and the nature of their interactions, so that they can create their personal set of ideas to a wide range of pressing global issues.
