🎓 ABSS Graduate Gallery: Years from now, you might just see Kinston Shoffner delivering a winning closing argument in a courtroom, but his journey to law school starts right now as a proud Walter M. Williams High School graduate. Kinston is following the Enrollment path straight to Campbell University, where he will major in Criminal Justice Pre-Law with plans to attend law school and become a criminal defense attorney!

His absolute favorite memory is the thrill of being crowned football conference champions two years in a row! As he prepares to trade his cleats for legal briefs, he is focused on his deeper purpose. "I am excited to continue life and to further pursue my education along with growing in Christ," Kinston shared.

Congratulations, Kinston! We know you’ll bring that same championship drive to the courtroom. 🐪🏈⚖️

We're excited to announce that LaSonya Moffett from Williams High School has been named the ABSS School Social Worker of the Year! Ms. Moffett has had a profound impact on the Bulldog community over the past three years thanks to her unwavering commitment to students, families, and staff alike.

Whether she is building meaningful relationships to help students overcome personal barriers, serving on the School Improvement Team, or advocating for resources at the district level, Ms. Moffett is a tireless champion for everyone around her. One of the most impactful examples of her dedication is the food pantry she operates right out of her office. By directly addressing food insecurity, she ensures that students and families have access to basic necessities, which has made a profound difference in many lives.

Principal Curry elaborated on her impact: "What truly sets Ms. Moffett apart is her willingness to do whatever is needed to support others. There is no task too small or too large—she approaches every responsibility with professionalism, care, and a genuine desire to help."

Ms. Moffett truly exemplifies the very best of Student & Family Services, meeting every challenge with a smile and a solution-oriented mindset.

Thank you, Ms. Moffett, for your deep compassion, leadership, and heart for our #ABSSCommunity!

When all the works are this good, it's hard to pick a favorite! The Walter M. Williams High School gym has been filled with incredible Visual Arts, Pottery & Videography works for the Williams High School Art Show today! 🎨 Please stop by from 5:00-7:00 PM tonight and prepare to be amazed. Art teachers Elizabeth Wooten and Emily Brinskelle have done an amazing job organizing the event and the student art will certainly impress. In between the exhibitions, you can have your hands painted, get a caricature by Erike Huffine Illustration, see students make their next masterpieces live, or take home your own art on a stick. Dr. Fleming stopped by this afternoon and placed an award on his favorite pottery piece titled Stone Garden by Raquel Rodriguez Alonso. He was so inspired by everything he saw, he picked up a brush! 🏺👨‍🎨 #ThisisABSS #ABSSArts
