Meet this week’s teacher: Ms. Barbaza! She is a 6th/7th grade ELA teacher at AVS. If Ms. Barbaza could travel anywhere in the world, she’d visit Italy. Unsurprisingly, ELA was her favorite subject when she was a student. If you spot Ms. Barbaza outside of school, you might find her practicing yoga, reading, or baking. Today's virtual learning tip is from AVS high school teacher, Ms. Bordman. She recommends parents & guardians check PowerSchool daily. PowerSchool provides helpful information about a student's class attendance, grades, course registration, and schedule. Did you know that you can access PowerSchool on your phone? Download the PowerSchool Mobile App (available for both Android and iPhone users).
