AVS is proud to support our Alamance County community. Our AYLA chapter delivered dog & cat food donations given by AVS families to Burlington Animal Services. All summer long adoption fees are waived. Add a new member to your family 💜 🐈 🐕

It allows students to explore concepts, analyze data, and dive deeper into topics that might not be possible in a traditional science classroom. We use Gizmos in grades 5-12 here in ABSS.

Our Dog Food & Cat Food Collection Drive for the animal shelter continues. Various events bring students into school the next two weeks, we encourage families to drop off donations of dry pet food when coming on site. Thanks for the continued support of this worthy cause.

This Memorial Day Weekend we honor those who gave their lives in military service to our country. We remember their families in their loss.

✨ 38 Days, 38 Schools - Alamance Virtual School provides an engaging, supportive virtual learning environment where students can master the curriculum from home. The staff is dedicated to giving students a well-rounded academic experience. Monthly in-person "Dragon Adventure" meetups organized by their active Parent Teacher Organization allow students to participate in social activities and build community. 💜 In addition to prioritizing students' academic and social growth, Alamance Virtual School is deeply involved with AYLA (Alamance Youth Leadership Academy). Through this partnership, they serve their school families while giving back to the local community. Their daily mission is to uphold their motto: "Igniting Minds, Soaring Dragons." 🐉
