All 10th graders at Alamance Virtual will take the PreACT on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This will take place at our offices located at 609 Ray Street. The AVS Student Council is spearheading a drive to collect supplies to be delivered to areas of Western North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Donations can be dropped off at the AVS Office located at 609 Ray Street, Graham, NC office until the end of the day on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Monetary Donations can also be made to MANNA FoodBank or Samaritan's Purse
All items collected will be included in an airlift set up to head out after the drive ends. At this time the Student Council asks donors to follow the specific list of items needed. There is limited space and their list is specific.

AVS School Picture Day is tomorrow, Monday, September 23, 2024. Families can bring students any time between 7 am to 3:30 pm. Photographers will be available during this time. Packages can be purchased in advance or after you view the proofs.

Students and families came out for our third annual back to school event on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Students picked up their Chromebooks, visited with each other, and met their teachers. We are excited to start the 2024-2025 school year on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Gizmos is an interactive, inquiry-based STEM and Science simulation program designed to engage students in science. It allows students to explore concepts, analyze data, and dive deeper into topics that might not be possible in a traditional science classroom. We use Gizmos in grades 5-12 here in ABSS.
