Today's Theme was "What is a rhyme without reason" In a nutshell, couples and friends pair up or team up with each other wearing costumes that rhyme but otherwise may have nothing else in common. Cat and bat, referee and bumblebee, you get the idea! Let's see if you can guess Rhyme of each picture!!!! https://share.icloud.com/photos/022lqbYc9nJ_fu_N82QU7J14w Avery Artis Assistant Principal

We would like to highlight a few of our Awesome Warriors who have Autism. Mr. Omar Obarca Lara enjoys school, loves his teachers, and doesn't want you to talk to him about driving a car. Omar is very help and he was also the first Western High student of the month. Ms. Julianna Murray aka Julie is one sassy and feisty young lady! Julie loves dance class and will be dancing in New York this summer. Julie has a twin sister that attends Western as well. Mr. Adrian Lee aka AJ is the D3 crew gentle giant. AJ loves school! He will tell you when to help him with his classwork and doesn't mind giving you a huge hug and KISS.💋 Mr. Adric Baumgarner is the son of science teacher Mrs. Baumgarner. If you leave your computer open, he will hack it and make your screen saver a guinea pig.🐹 Mr. Ben Simpson is an amazing young man. He is the nephew of our CDC Mrs. Simpson-Coble. Ben has an extensive vocabulary and loves to play the piano. Ben also has a fascination with riding the school bus. 🚌 Mr. Diego Verduzco Davar is one of our tallest students on campus. Diego is very helpful and enjoys helping at Elon University and Westerns coffee cart. Diego does not like child development classes because the babies cry too much!! Diego is excited about taking drivers ed! I wonder who will drive him. If you have a student at Western who has Autism and would like for us to celebrate them, please email Mr. Artis their picture.
