Hello Warrior families! We need your help. We ended the 2023-24 school year with a lunch debt balance of over $5,000. If we are not able to clear this debt prior to the end of June, the school will be responsible for paying the remaining balance. We have set up a link to accept donations to help reduce our lunch debt balance. Please use the link below if you are able to help. Thank you!

Lauren Gallathen, a senior at Western Alamance High School, was awarded the prestigious Bronze NJROTC medal from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Gallathen has demonstrated outstanding academic excellence, dependability, good character, adherence to military discipline, and leadership as the Operations Officer overseeing many unit events this past year.
After graduating, Gallathen plans to pursue a nursing degree with the goal of eventually joining the Air Force, following the military path of her two brothers currently serving. Her achievements at such a young age make her very deserving of this honored NJROTC recognition. Congratulations, Lauren!

Saturday Academy-
We will have Saturday Academy on May 11 and 18th from 8:45 am-12:15 pm. As we began to approach the end of the school year, we would like to ensure that all students have the opportunity to be successful and receive credit for their courses. Students can receive assistance with getting through their current courses, EOC prep, Spanish, remediation, APEX, make-up work, and more. Students must come focused and be ready to work. This is not a time to hang out and/or talk with friends. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Artis, assistant principal. There will be no bus transportation for Saturday Academy. Students need to report to the media center when they arrive on

✨ 38 Days, 38 Schools: Western Alamance High School truly stands out as a remarkable institution where a powerful sense of community intertwines with cherished traditions and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. It's a place where the whole community wraps their arms around the students and school. Whether it's a big game, a play, or an awards ceremony, you can count on people showing up and showing their support. They give so generously of their time and resources because they truly believe in the power of education and what this school does for kids. It's that kind of community spirit that makes Western so incredible.
Western is also deeply rooted in tradition. You'll find students whose parents and even grandparents went there. Teachers too - some have spent their entire 30+ year careers at Western because they love the school's history and traditions so much. Those traditions create this powerful legacy that gets passed down from one generation to the next. Ultimately, Western is synonymous with excellence across the board. Academics, sports, arts, clubs - you name it - the students strive to be the best. It's called the "Warrior Way" and it pushes them to reach their full potential and make their mark on the world. Western is the total package!
