Announcement for Joy Toms being named the lead counselor at Southeast Alamance

Lead Counselor at Southeast Alamance High School

We are excited to announce that the Alamance-Burlington School System Board of Education has approved the hiring of Mrs. Joy Toms as the Lead Counselor at Southeast Alamance High School.  

Mrs. Toms has served as the graduation coach at Eastern Alamance High School for the past four years.  Prior to coming to Eastern Alamance, Mrs. Toms served as the lead counselor at Morehead High School in Eden and as the lead high school counselor for the Rockingham County School System.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will serve the students and families of Southeast Alamance.  

“I am very excited about the opportunities and challenges that opening a new high school will include. I look forward to working with all Southeast Stallions to help them reach their full potential and being able to interact with all the stakeholders to help us have a successful foundation.”  

Mrs. Toms will officially start her new position on February 1st.  Please welcome Mrs. Joy Toms to the Southeast Family.
