Our attendance rate for the last week was 90.9%. Our sophomore class led the way with a 92.7% attendance rate. Your child must be at school and on time to be successful in their classes. We have made a slight adjustment to our tardy policy for the 4th quarter of the year. Click here to view the updated tardy policy. Please help us by ensuring that your child is at school on time everyday.
This Tuesday, May 14th the Southeast Alamance Staff will travel to Eastern Alamance to take on the Eastern staff in basketball. Tickets are $5 and all the money collected will be split between the two schools and will go to paying the lunch debt at both schools. Tip off will be at 7:00. We hope to see you at Eastern supporting the Southeast Staff.
On Wednesday, May 15th our dance classes will perform their spring recital. Make plans to come out and see this wonderful performance. The show will start at 6:00 in the Southeast Auditorium.
We will continue AP Testing this week. The following tests will be administered on the date and time that is listed below. Please make sure that your child is at school on time in preparation for their exam.

All of our EOC classes will take their final Check-Ins this week. Please encourage your child to do their best as we prepare for EOCs in just a few weeks.
We are currently 3 weeks away from the start of exams. Please remind students of the Exam Exemption Policy. Just a reminder that students can only be exempt from teacher made exams. State EOC and CTE exams are mandatory for everyone. Below is the spring exam schedule. If students have a conflict with the exam schedule then please have them speak with their teacher.
We will continue to offer Saturday School an Evening Academy to provide students extra tutoring to ensure that they are progressing in their classes. You can sign your child up for Saturday School by clicking on the link below or contacting Coach Williamson to register for our Evening Academy.
Our Athletic Boosters are holding a golf tournament to support our athletic teams. There are just a few more spots remaining so if you are interested in signing a team up then please complete the registration form below. The tournament will be on Saturday, May 18 at Quaker Creek Golf Course.
Senior parents…If you still need to order your cap and gown online at the link below. Please order yours as soon as possible as the price will continue to increase.
The district approved the calendar for the 24-25 school year at their BOE meeting earlier this week. The approved calendar is linked below.
In order to stay up to date about your child’s grades and attendance, it is very important that you download the Powerschool Parent Portal App. HERE is all the information you need to download the app and set up its features. Finally, if you want to be a parent observer in your child’s Canvas courses then click here for instructions to set that up. If you have any questions please reach out to us.
Breakfast and lunch are not free for all students. If you would like your child to eat meals at school, you will either need to put money on their online account or you will need to secure a free/reduced lunch status by filling out the application linked below. Our school currently has a negative balance of $3000. At the end of the year, our school will have to pay the negative balance. Paying this money takes away important resources from other things that we may need at the school. Please help us to pay down our negative balance by putting money in your child’s account or by applying for free or reduced meals. The free or reduced application is available in the main office or you can fill out the online application at https://www.lunchapplication.com/.
You can add money to their lunch account online, by clicking the link below.
