Southeast Families-

This is Eric Yarbrough, principal at Southeast Alamance High School.  Our staff is very excited to welcome our students to Southeast on Monday.  We will be operating on a 3 hour delay on Monday.  The schedule for Monday is below.

11:45 -­ 12:35 ­ 1st Period

12:40 - 2:05  2nd Period and Lunch

1st Lunch Schedule

Lunch: 12:40 - 1:05    2nd Block:  1:10 - 2:05

2nd Lunch Schedule

2nd Block:  12:40 - 1:10     Lunch:  1:10 - 1:35    2nd Block: 1:40 - 2:05

3rd Lunch Schedule

2nd Block:  12:40 - 1:40     Lunch:  1:40 - 2:05    

2:10 - 2:55  3rd Period 

3:00 - ­ 3:45 ­4th Period

Students should not arrive at school prior to 10:30 on Monday.  When students arrive on campus they will need to report to the cafeteria.  Students will not be allowed in the classroom hallways or upstairs until 11:35.  Students should report to their first period on Monday.  If you do not know who your first period teacher is, you can check PowerSchool.  There will also be lists posted in the cafeteria.  Students will receive a copy of their schedule and a campus map during 1st period on Monday. 

All CTEC or Graham High (Welding and Public Safety) classes will report to the media center on Monday for their classes.  Students should not go to CTEC or Graham on Monday.  These students will be sent a google meet link from their teacher so they can attend their classes virtually on Monday.

Please take a minute to review our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up maps so that you know where to go as you arrive on campus to drop off and/or pick up your students on Monday.

Please make sure that students are at their assigned bus stop at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled pick-up time.  Since we are running a 3 hour delay schedule, all pick-up times will be three hours later than scheduled.  

Students that have not picked up their chromebook will be given their chromebook on Tuesday.  

In order to stay up to date about your child’s grades and attendance, it is very important that you download the Powerschool Parent Portal App. HERE is all the information you need to download the app and set up its features.  Please let us know if we can help you.  

Parking Permits are now available for the 23-24 School Year.  They cost $30 and they are nonrefundable.  Parking permits will be on sale all year so if your child will get their license later this year, you can buy a permit once they have their license.  Please click the link below to purchase a parking permit for the 23-24 school year.  Students that have applied for the parking permit and paid the $30 fee, can pick up their pass in the main office any day this week between 9:00 and 3:00.

ABSS & Alamance County Health Department (ACHD) have collaborated to provide multiple immunization opportunities.  These mobile immunization clinics have been arranged in different locations across the school district to promote the ability to attend for those that are in need of additional vaccinations, more specifically targeting the known needs of many of the 23-24 kindergarteners, 7th graders, 12th graders, as well as new enrollments.   • CTEC September 20th 1-4pm

Students that registered to take the PSAT on Tuesday, October 24th will need to pay the $18 fee by the end of this week.  Cash or Check will need to be paid to Mrs. Crumel in this cafeteria during lunch.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Alexis Crumel at alexis_crumel@abss.k12.nc.us.

Just a reminder that ABSS has a clear bag policy for all athletic events.  Please make sure that if you plan to bring a bag into any athletic event the bag must be clear.  Thank you in advance for your help with this policy. 

Breakfast and lunch are not universally free for all students. If you would like your child to eat meals at school, you will either need to put money on their online account or you will need to secure a free/reduced lunch status by filling out the required form. The form is available in the office or you can fill it out online: https://www.lunchapplication.com/
