It was "Game On!" last night at our annual Level-Up & Kindergarten Open House night where current and future Lion Cub Leaders were able to check out their next grade level! Students enjoyed sweet treats from Sunset Slush, learning games led by students from @ABEC and a swag bag full of resources to help them prepare for the upcoming school year. #lioncubsleadtheyway🖤💛🦁

Happy National Administrative Professionals' Day to our three tremendous Lion Cub Leaders! Mrs. Pacheco, Ms. Carter, and Mrs. Mendoza work hard every day to keep us organized, focused, and ensure things run smoothly for our students, families, and staff! We appreciate you!🖤💛🦁

Don't forget to Level Up with us tomorrow afternoon, from 4:00-6:00! We will host Level Up Night for current K-4 and rising kindergarten students. This event will give students a sneak peek of the expectations and excitement of their next grade level. Rising Kindergarten students attend their open house. All students will leave with resources to help prepare them for the next grade level. You don't want to miss it! Sunset Slush will be on campus!

What's the best way to start your Tuesday? By getting pumped up for learning with Pre-k! #lioncubsleadtheway🖤💛🦁

The Field Day vibes were strong at Haw River Elementary School on this picture-perfect Friday! There's nothing quite like the thrill of running under a giant parachute! 🪂
Under sunny skies and comfortable temps, students rotated through active stations organized by PE teacher John Gillis. From running and jumping to tug-of-war and the always-popular parachute, there was something for everyone! Board Member Dan Ingle helped students practice their dribbling and shooting skills on the basketball court! 🏀
A huge thanks to the high school volunteers from Eastern, Williams, Southeast, and Cummings who led the stations and helped make this a fun day for all our participants. Time to rest up those legs - it has been an active day! 💪
