Today, our Lion Cubs combined their creativity with their passion for books. It was great to see the excitement & smiles! Our students and staff are totally ROARsome!

🌟 STAR Staff of the Month: Jennifer de Lima 🌟 Congratulations to Ms. de Lima, ESL Teacher at Haw River Elementary School! Though new to the Haw River family, she has already made an incredible impact with her boundless passion and dedication. Ms. de Lima's commitment to enriching her school's culture and supporting all students and families truly stands out. Her warm presence and genuine care for her school community make her an invaluable member of our team. We were proud to recognize Ms. Lima at last night's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations and thank you for your exceptional work!

We had an amazing time celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Our students helped facilitate daily announcements, provided a fact of the day, researched countries, created flags, and did art projects. We concluded with a flag parade and a performance by students from SAHS.

It was a great week!

It was an awesome week to be a HRE Lion Cub!

Great things are happening this week and coffee is one of them! We want to give a HUGE Lion Cub THANK YOU to Sweatt Realty for providing our staff with coffee from Harper Belles today! Sweatt Realty, we appreciate you supporting our school community!

The Lion Cubs want to thank Royce Publications, Inc. and the Haw River Police Department for their donation for our 24-25 DARE graduation shirts. Thank you!

Shout out to our SRO, Sgt. Ellis! We are excited about his new patrol car that is decked out with the HRE logo.
