If you feel your child performs at “substantially high levels of accomplishment when compared with others of their age,” you may refer your child to be screened by the AIG Committee at your child’s school. Parents may refer their child/children to the AIG committee through a written request to the principal stating why their child should be considered for screening, with details and/or examples that show a need for differentiated gifted services.
