The PSAT/NMSQT stands for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which students take as a sophomore or junior. This test prepares students for success on the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test), a commonly required college placement test. High enough marks on the PSAT/NMSQT as a junior can help a student land a National Merit Scholarship, which can mean big bucks for college.
A payment link will be sent to your email address in early August. The cost of the test is $18.00. Payments will be collected in mid August in order to complete your registration. You will contacted in early August to ensure that you have seating for the test as spaces are limited.
