Parents of car riders:
When dropping your student off at school in the mornings, please obey the no left turn sign at Avalon and McKinney. This is a traffic law that is monitored by the Burlington Police Department. It was put in place to assist with the safety of all in this high traffic area. We have been experiencing a back up in our car line in the mornings and it appears to be coming from parents turning left at the stop sign. McKinney St is open to thru traffic now so turning right is not as much of an issue as it was while the road was closed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day. This is celebrated every year on the 21st of March. To celebrate, people around the world always do the "Rock your Socks" campaign where they wear bright colored, mismatched, or even 3 different socks to bring awareness to people with Down Syndrome.
So if they’d like- we invite your student to rock their socks, wear some yellow and blue, learn something new, and celebrate WDSD 2023 with us at Andrews tomorrow!
