Bus # 149 and 175 will be delayed this morning. We are working to reroute buses, however, your bus may arrive late to your stop this morning. You may elect to bring your child directly to school. No student will be marked tardy due to transportation delays. We know you rely on us for transportation and we will keep you updated if we expect delays this afternoon. We are sorry for this inconvenience. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this situation.

This is an important bus announcement regarding bus 76 and 87. Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20, the morning driver, Ms. Penny will be out. Ms. D will be driving and will be picking up students on bus 76 starting at 6:25 am. Students will have to be at the stop earlier than normal.
Ms. D will pick up bus 87 as her second load at the normal time.

Congratulations to Ms. de Lima, ESL Teacher at Haw River Elementary School! Though new to the Haw River family, she has already made an incredible impact with her boundless passion and dedication. Ms. de Lima's commitment to enriching her school's culture and supporting all students and families truly stands out. Her warm presence and genuine care for her school community make her an invaluable member of our team.
We were proud to recognize Ms. Lima at last night's Board of Education meeting! Congratulations and thank you for your exceptional work!
We had an amazing time celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Our students helped facilitate daily announcements, provided a fact of the day, researched countries, created flags, and did art projects. We concluded with a flag parade and a performance by students from SAHS.
It was a great week!
