Wednesday, our 2nd grade students participated in the Junior Achievement Program. They focused on learning about our community and work readiness intersected with standards based social studies learning objectives. Topics included careers, production, innovation, earning, taxes, government, money, business, and decision making. "Lettuce taco 'bout" how amazing our Lion Cub teachers and staff are! They were able to enjoy a "Taco Tuesday" lunch with help from our community partners at Crazy Mexico of Haw River & Julia Mason of Love Language Bakery in Burlington provided the most delicious cookies!
