Good Evening Bulldog Community!
Let's finish the Fall Semester strong! This week begins Final Exams and End of Course assessments. Students have been working hard this semester and it is time to show what they know! Please see below for important announcements for this week:
Monday, January 16th - In observance of MLK, Jr. holiday, there is no school.
1) Final exams and EOCs are upon us! Please see our Testing Letter for important information regarding pick up procedures and what to expect on exam days. Please see the Williams High School Exam Schedule Fall 2022 to know which tests you take on which day. The schedule also includes CTEC and CTE courses. Final exams, EOCs, and CTE exams will count for 20% of a student's final grade. The Exam Exemption Policy is also in effect for teacher made exams. This semester's absences for the final exam exemption policy will only be considered for the second quarter. (November 1, 2022 - January 13, 2023). Students, make sure you charge your computer each night and bring your charger with you to school as most of these tests are online. More importantly, a full night's rest and a good breakfast go a long way. Make sure you get plenty of rest each night, set your alarms to be on time, and eat a good breakfast before school starts. Good luck!
2) Seniors: Senior yearbook recognition ads are on sale now! Don't miss this chance to be recognized in the 2023 yearbook. Ads can be purchased through January 31st by going to: https://www.jostens.com/apps/jcom/router.mvc?affiliateId=1052291
3) Picture Day: Tuesday, January 31st will be the final makeup picture day for the 2022-2023 school year. All 9th-12th graders and faculty that have not had their school portrait taken yet this year, or wish to do a retake, will have the opportunity to do so on Tuesday, January 31st.
4) Seniors: Four new scholarships were added to the Scholarship Memo Friday, 1/13. Please look at the memo as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please see your school counselor.
5)To ensure the safety of all students, a valid ID is required to check out students. The person checking out the student must be listed in PowerSchool as a designated pickup person. No one is permitted to check out students without a physical photo ID.
6) Parking Reminder: Please do not park in “No Parking” zones or in front of people’s residences. Vehicles can be ticketed through the City of Burlington and/or towed.
7) Car Riders should be dropped off and picked up on Arlington Ave by the bulldog statue. Country Club Dr is only for School Buses during drop-off and pickup times. Please stay out of the bus lane until 5 pm.
Today, tomorrow, and every day is a great day to be a Bulldog!
Onward Bulldogs!
