Week 33: April Showers, Bring May Flowers

Last week was a great week! Kindergarten and First Grade enjoyed their field trips. We celebrated Administrative Professional's Day and Autism Acceptance Week. Most importantly, our Lion Cub Leaders continued to grow and bloom as we head towards the end of the year!

We are still planning on rescheduling our Campus Clean-up Day. Stay tuned for more details to come.

Just a quick safety reminder: If you are signing your student out early (before 2:20 pm), you must go inside to the front office and check them out. If you arrive early, after 2:20 pm, to sign your child out, you must wait until the dismissal announcements are made at 2:25 pm. We appreciate your cooperation with this matter!

This week we are celebrating Mr. Bryan for School Principal's Day on May 1st. We are thankful to have him as our leader! He adds value to Haw River daily with his fantastic leadership skills and beautiful relationships with students, families, and staff; his excitement and energy are contagious throughout our building! Happy School Principal's Day, Mr. Bryan!

Also, this week, local Rotarians will visit our campus as part of their "Rotary Reads" program.

Lastly, a HUGE event is planned for Thursday, May 4th, from 4:00-6:00 pm. We will be having our first annual "LEVEL-UP" Night. Come and check out your grade level expectations for next year. Rising Kindergarten Registration will also take place in the library. There will be games, snacks, prizes, House Points, and Sunset Slush for purchase. The first 200 students will receive a lanyard for their "gaming" card. You do not want to miss it!!! Click here to check out our Week 33 Newsletter!
