Our 2nd-grade students at E.M. Holt Elementary wrapped up their weather unit with a special visit from WFMY News 2 meteorologist Christian Morgan! The students have been studying all about the science behind weather patterns and were able to ask Christian questions to go deeper. He shared how meteorologists use technology to create forecasts and taught the kids common weather terminology. A big thank you to Christian and WFMY2 for helping make science come alive for our students!

On Friday, April 21st E.M. Holt Elementary students participated in Field Day. There were many fun activities. Thank you to Mr. May for organizing Field Day and many thanks to the Southern High School students that assisted with the activities. Everyone had a great time!
