An application must be completed to receive free or reduced school meals for the new school year. 🥪 If your school is already eligible for free meals or you bring lunch from home, the application is still worthwhile as it provides waivers for testing and college applications! 🖥️ lunchapplication.com

Parents as we are getting ready for the 2023-2024 school year just a few reminders: We will be utilizing Classroom Dojo this year for our most up-to-date communications. Please update the app and make sure that you are connected to Garrett for this upcoming year. Meet the Teacher for 1st-5th grades will be on August 24th from 4:00-6:00 (floating). Please plan to come to Garrett with your Gator and meet your child's teacher, visit their classroom, drop off school supplies, determine bus information, sign up for PTO, complete lunch applications, and other school resources will be available. We can't wait to see all of our 1st-5th graders during this floating event. Meet the Teacher for our Kindergators will be on August 31st from 4:00-6:00 (floating). Please plan to come out to Garrett with your Kinder-Gator and meet your child's teacher, visit their classroom, drop off school supplies, determine bus information, sign up for PTO, complete lunch applications, and other school resources will be available. We can't wait to see Kindergators during this floating event. First Day of School for 1st-5th grades will be on August 28th. Kindergators will have staggered entry August 28th-August 31st (post cards will be mailed with the date your child is to attend) and everyone will come for their first official day on September 1st. Please make sure that all families of current Garrett students have gone into the Powerschool Portal and updated all information and forms for the 2023-2024 school year. As a reminder that school lunch applications must be completed each year. Students who qualified last year, do not automatically qualify, so make sure that you have completed your school lunch application for the 2023-2024 school year online or we have paper copies at the school. The website to apply is: https://www.lunchapplication.com/ Thank you and we look forward to a successful school year.
