4th grade is running a few minutes late from their Raleigh trip. They should be back between 2:50-3 pm. If you are picking up a 4th-grade car rider, we may need you to park and wait. Also, due to our field trips and the weather, our bus route may be slightly off today. Thank you for your patience.
STEAM Night has started! Join us from 6-8 tonight! Lots of fun is happening in our AWE cafeteria, brought to you by our STEAM club.
Good news club pick up will be in the line in front of the gym due to construction vehicles in our car line.
STEAM Family Night: Thursday, November 16th from 6-8: Join us to make your own lightsaber, play interactive putt-putt, create trebuchets, and much more! Cash’s Smokin BBQ Food Truck will also be on campus! All activities (minus the Food Truck) are free for AWE families!

PTO Meeting/Family Night–AWE Cafeteria: Monday, November 13th, from 6-7: Join us for giveaways, PTO planning, and games for school-age children with the Early College Key Club.
Buses will likely run ahead of schedule this afternoon (11/9), due to awards day check-outs. Please be mindful of this change. Kindergarteners still require an adult present to be dropped off.
We will celebrate the first quarter strengths tomorrow in the gym. K-2 will celebrate at 11; 3-5 at 12:45. We will have sign out sheets available if you decide to sign your kids out after their program.
We apologize for the unexpected traffic challenges this morning. We were not aware the construction crew was blocking off a lane today. This will continue all week and possibly next as they aim to finish our road. Thanks for your continued patience.
School Fundraiser orders will be here tomorrow! If you have a few things, they will come home with your child. If there is a large order, it needs to be picked up between 3 and 5:30 tomorrow. Call the office with questions: 336-578-1366. Thank you so much for your support!
