The AWE virtual art show starts today!
**We will have our schoolwide art in-person show on Thursday, March 13th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Gym. **
Every student will have artwork on display. Purchasing a frame for your child's artwork is optional. They will receive their original artwork back even if you do not purchase the frame. Here's how to do it:

2. View your child's framed work of art.
3. Pre-purchase the framed artwork to skip the line at the art show.
4. You can also pre-purchase a frame even if you cannot make it to the art show. It can be picked up later at the school at a designated time.
6. Reproductions make a great gift idea for your loved ones. Please share with your family and friends!
All students have taken ownership in choosing which artwork to display. Students in grades second and higher have created original artworks from idea to completion, and they can tell you all about their process!

2-Hour Delay Reminders for AWE:
--Students can be dropped off at 9:25in the car line. Bus routes will be picked up about 2 hours later than the normal route.
--Eagles Nest (AM) will operate 2 hours later for students who are regular attendees; for the 2-hour delay, it will open at 8:30.
--There will be NO breakfast as we start our lunch service at 10:30. Please ensure students eat before coming to school.

Our interest meeting for the upcoming Dual Language cohort will be held tonight, Monday, February 17th at 5 pm in our Media Center. We will provide a highlight of the benefits of full immersion, discuss the timeline for applications, and share the lottery process. If you are interested in Dual Language for your rising kinder student, but are unable to attend, please reach out to Dr. Westmoreland, and she will be glad to provide you with the information.
Tomorrow, as we celebrate Valentine's Day, we encourage students to wear red to celebrate the red house! Students will receive their swag house point for wearing red instead of their house color.
