November 4th: We apologize for the early announcement. We are down to two bus drivers this morning. Bus 169 will be delayed. We will ensure that all children are picked up, but the route times will be altered. This will delay the afternoon routes also. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Our PTO Fall Clean-up is Saturday, Nov 5th from 8-12. This is a great opportunity to help our school look its best! Please bring gloves, wheel barrows, shovels, and rakes!

Friday: AWE Eagles make REALLY EXCELLENT DECISIONS throughout history! In celebration of our 100th year, students may wear their best outfit from the 1920s/1930s!
Thursday: REALLY EXCELLENT DECISIONS are in our future--students may wear their favorite college gear or dress as their dream career!
The fundraising items are here. If you had a large number of orders, please plan to pick it up by 5pm today. If it was a small number of orders, they will go home with your child. If you have any questions, please call the office: 336-578-1366. Thank you so much for supporting our school.
Shout out to the Swepsonville FD for visiting Alexander Wilson for Fire Safety Month. Students practiced stop, drop, and roll and crawled through the smoke house to practice how to stay safe in a fire emergency. Bonus: Mrs. Russell tried on the fire gear. 🔥 #ABSSCommunity
Wednesday: REALLY EXCELLENT DECISIONS build CHARACTER! Students may dress as their favorite book character!
Tuesday: Sleep is required to make REALLY EXCELLENT DECISIONS--AWE students may wear their PJs to school today!
Bus 169 will not be running today (10/24). Either bus 144 or bus 173 will be coming to pick up all AM bus riders. This will cause some delays. Thank you for your patience.

What a fun evening! Alexander Wilson’s PTO sponsored a fall festival complete with bounce houses, a haunted hallway, a hayride, and lots of games. Over 1000 people attended. Thanks, PTO! #ABSSCommunity

Tomorrow the Bookfair will be open until 2pm for any student who would like to shop! This is the last day.
Also, please join us for our PTO Fall Festival tomorrow from 6-8pm in the back field. Wristbands are $12 at the door (cash only). It will be a fun-filled night!
If you signed up to volunteer at Fall Festival--thank you! Please check in at our volunteer table 5-10 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.
Alexander Wilson Elementary hosted a STEAM night where families participated in student-led activities from drone races 🤖 to making music with colors. 🎶 This was a great example of how students can truly lead! #StudentCenteredFutureFocused #ABSSCommunity #STEAM
