Our Visiting Speakers Series kicks off today for the school year with Dr. Erica Thomas discussing college and career pathways for students interested in the broad field of Public Health. 🎉
Our ABEC P.A.L.s are already out in the community serving our little scholars in ABSS! Tonight they helped with Alexander Wilson’s Open House and Monday morning they will be at Sylvan bright and early to greet students on their 1st Day! 📚

ABEC students showed up bright and early on their Saturday morning to mulch, clean, plant flowers, and move furniture at Sylvan Elementary! 💪
It has been a whirlwind of a first week for sure! Last week we were so grateful to have Dr. Harrison stop by! He even dropped by Mrs. Barger's AP Government class to discuss the importance of being involved in local politics!

Gizmos is an interactive, inquiry-based STEM and Science simulation program designed to engage students in science. It allows students to explore concepts, analyze data, and dive deeper into topics that might not be possible in a traditional science classroom. We use Gizmos in grades 5-12 here in ABSS.
