ABSS Early College students participated in a week-long "Hunger Games" challenge hosted by the Key Club to collect canned food for a local food pantry. Students competed within their "districts" or homerooms and brought in a record-breaking 1044 cans! Ninth Grade students from ABEC participated in the first annual TED Symposium last night on the Early College campus. Speeches ranged from how to shoot a basketball or yield a katana, to issues like dancer discrimination or the adverse effects of stereotyping. These Cobras conquered the daunting task of public speaking with preparation, enthusiasm, and confidence! #StudentCenteredFutureFocused
