This is your Proud Principal, Mr. Garrett, with some important information for the week of April 21st, 2025.
We hope that everyone enjoyed their spring break and are ready to come back and hit the ground running as our focus continues to be on Teaching and Learning.
I want to take a moment to congratulate our Band and Chorus programs on their recent wins at the Music in the Parks Festival in Rock Hill, SC. Our Band took home a Superior Rating, a trophy for first in our class, as well as first overall among middle school bands. Our Chorus took home an excellent rating, as well as 1st place in their class, which continues a tradition of excellence in our chorus program. We are proud of our students, who represented Woodlawn very well. I would also like to thank Mr. McConnell and Ms. Boggs for their diligent work in preparing our students for the competition.
On Tuesday, April 22nd, our Baseball team travels to Broadview Middle while our girl’s soccer team travels to Southern Middle. On Wednesday, April 23rd, our Baseball team hosts Western Middle while our Softball team travels to Southern Middle. Thursday, April 24th, our Girl’s Soccer team hosts Hawfields Middle while our Softball team hosts Southern Middle.
