This is your Proud Principal, Mr. Garrett, with some important information for the week of March 31st, 2025.
We will have our Spring Curriculum Night on April 3rd, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. This event features a town hall meeting with Principal Garrett, academic games and activities for the whole family in the cafeteria, helpful test-taking strategies, student presentations and delicious refreshments. Don’t forget to reach out to your child’s teachers to schedule Parent/Teacher conferences as well. Be sure to mark your calendars for Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.
Attention Parents! All Rising 7th graders must have a Tdap booster and first meningococcal dose within the first 30 days of school next year. Woodlawn is partnering with Alamance County Health Department to have a vaccine clinic on campus on April 4. This is a date change from our original date of April 9th. The school nurse will email students requiring vaccines so parents can complete the consent form, allowing them to get the vaccine and not risk exclusion on the 30th day of the next school year. If you receive consent, please contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
This week in athletics, on Tuesday, April 1st, our Baseball team hosts Broadview Middle. Wednesday, April 2nd, our Track Team hosts Southern, Turrentine, and Broadview Middle Schools. Thursday, April 3rd, Baseball will travel to Southern Middle. All contests begin at 4:45p unless otherwise noted.
