November 3, 2024
Good afternoon WAMS families, this is Principal Aaron Acome.
I hope you had a restful and relaxing weekend. Just a quick reminder that Tuesday November 5th is a Teacher Workday, so there is no school for students. Braves Day was a great success. Thank you for all of the donations and volunteers. A special thank you to Ms. Garrison, Ms. Kasserman, Coach Wiles, Coach Coller, Coach/MC Kaffenberger.
From the PTO:
Thanks to everyone who participated in the car rider raffle. Winners were given their car passes Friday. The car passes will be effective from 11/4-1/17. We will hold another car rider raffle in January.
Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the Nothing Bundt Cakes fundraiser. Winners are as follows: we had a tie for the most sold: 8th Grade Sebastian R. & 7th Grade Alan G. These students will have a pizza lunch on Monday, November 4 after their lunch time.
Grade Level winners are 8th grade Makayla S, 7th grade Roslyn M. & 6th grade Carrigan B. Winners of the gaming gift card is Zachary S. Gift cards will be given out Monday morning.
We are currently looking for an off site venue to host our 8th grade formal. It will need to have seating for up to 125, access to a sink, bathrooms and some type of area where we can host a DJ and have a dance floor. If you know of a place that fits this description, please email westernalamancepto@gmail.com.
Thank you again for all of your support! Go Braves!
