Baseball 2025:
Baseball Tryouts will begin the week of February 17th.
Tryouts/Practice will run everyday after school from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Any cancellations will be made during previous practice or during school.
Tryouts are open for 6th, 7th and 8th graders.
Parents are encouraged to have a ride ready to pick up their child promptly after practice from the baseball field.
All participants will be required to have a SPORTS PHYSICAL and have been cleared through the NCHSAA DRAGONFLY (SEE LINK BELOW).
There will be a baseball Jamboree @ Stanback Middle in Orange County on March 8th for the athletes that make the baseball team.
(Physicals are good for 13 months).
For students to try out and be eligible to play this spring, you must complete the following:
passed all 4 core classes and at least 1 encore class from the previous semester.
Must have an up-to-date physical on file or uploaded to the DRAGONFLY Website along with the other paperwork necessary for DRAGONFLY
Must be less than fifteen years of age on or before/August 31 of the current school year.
Must have been in attendance 85% of the previous semester
