South Mebane students still have 106 books at home, worth $1675.57. PLEASE check behind couches, under beds, in drawers, and on bookshelves. Can't find your child's books? You can pay for the replacement at https://bit.ly/smelibraryfine
This year, SME students and staff borrowed 19,785 books and magazines. The three most borrowed titles were Creepy Crayon by Aaron Reynolds; Guts by Raina Telgemeier; and The Good Egg by Jory John.
Please help us now by returning all library books, and paying to replace any books that were lost. Look under beds, behind couches, and on bookshelves. All books are due back this Friday, June 2nd.

Update: Police continue to search for the car that appeared on South Mebane's campus today. The vehicle, which was a rental, came through the car line without a child. When approached, the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. We do not consider it a threat to the campus at this time. Due to this being an elementary school, we are acting out of an abundance of caution and police are investigating thoroughly.
