Smith Elementary Weekly Update
Week of January 23rd
It is a short week for our students. Thursday and Friday are teacher workdays and there is no school for students.
This Wednesday evening is our PTO’s Hot Cocoa and Canvas night in the cafeteria! It will be a fun school community event where you can enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate and some painting led by our art teacher, Mrs. Carly White. If you RSVP, we look forward to seeing you!
Time is running out to order your school spiritwear with our new updated logo and mascot. Please use the link included here. Deadline to order is January 30th!
The Smith PTO's 5th Grade Committee is sponsoring a Mrs. Pumpkins fundraiser! They are selling delicious, scratch-made chicken pies, baked spaghettis, and brownies. Stock up your freezer, as well as your friends' and families' freezers! Money raised will go toward the new book vending machine that will be enjoyed by the whole school. All orders, with payment, are due to the school by February 3. Pick-up will happen on February 10 from 3:30-4:30 (scheduled to coincide with the 3rd-5th grade dance!).
