Monday is our PTO Board Meeting via Zoom at 12:15 pm.  Please plan to get online and join us!  It is a great way to hear what is coming up and how you can help!

Wednesday is our school Spelling Bee at 9:30 am in the Media Center for our class spelling bee winners who will be participating to become the next Smith School Spelling Bee Overall Winner. If your child is participating, we hope you will make plans to come.

Wednesday is also Duty Free Lunch for our staff.  We want to thank our parent volunteers in advance who will be coming out and supervising lunch and making this happen for our teachers.

Also, on Wednesday our 4th and 5th Grade Orchestra students will be performing in the String Fling at Williams High School at 7 pm. If you have an orchestra student, we hope you will make plans to attend and support your child!

Thursday our 5th Graders will have the fun opportunity to attend an Elon University Women’s Basketball game.  They will leave Smith around 9:30 am and return at 1:30 pm.  If you have not given your student permission to go or sent in $5 for lunch, please do so ASAP!

Thursday evening our very own Buzz Choir will perform in the Media Center at 6:30 pm.  This will be a wonderful night of music that will put you in the Holiday spirit.  We hope you will make plans to attend!

Friday is the last day of school and our holiday break begins.  Class parties will be that afternoon.  We will see our students back in the New Year on Tuesday, January 3rd.

We wish all of our Smith families a Happy Holidays and a great start to the New Year!
