Smith Elementary Weekly Update
Week of October 31st
We hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow! Please remember there is no school for students on Monday. It is a teacher workday. We look forward to seeing our parents during your scheduled parent/teacher conference time. We plan to have staff available on Monday when you attend your child’s conference to assist with parent Powerschool, the new district app - Rooms, lunch applications, and more. Thank you for taking the time to attend this important meeting with your child’s teacher.
This Friday is our Fall Dance for students in 3rd through 5th grades from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Permission slips have already been sent home. Payments for the dance will be taken on both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 7:20 - 7:50 next week, in the front foyer area. Payment will not be accepted on Friday, the day of the dance. If your child wants to attend, please be sure to send in money and permission slip on one of the designated days listed above.
Saturday, November 4th is our Grounds Clean Up Day from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Please bring any yard tools you have like trimmers, blowers, rakes, and more. We will spend a couple of hours sprucing up our school grounds.
