PTO Update: Scholastic Book Fair September 26th-30th

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Our favorite time of fall is almost here -- the Scholastic Book Fair is happening all next week, September 26-30! This important event raises money for our school media center. And what kid doesn't love to browse and choose new books?! Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become bolder, prouder, stronger readers.
We're looking for volunteers! Can you spare an hour to help? Volunteers run the cash register, help students find books, shelve new merchandise. It really is SO FUN!
Students will shop at the book fair next week during their regular Media Center time. They can bring cash or a check (completely filled out and made out to "Smith Elementary PTO"). But the easiest thing to do is to set up a Scholastic eWallet for them! Similar to a lunch account, you can put money on the account and they can use it for easy, cash-free shopping! You can even share your student's eWallet account with family and friends, so they can add money. Consider sharing it on your social media. You know those grandparents want to buy books!
