Earning & Learning Attendance Campaign! May 20-May 31
Dear Parents,
The last weeks of school are super important for success today and in the future! Our calendar is packed with days for awards & recognitions, class celebrations and parties, and our End of Grade Testing and reviews! Your children have worked hard this year and it is important that they attend every day until the last day of June 7th so that they can enjoy all the fun of the end of the year! Please pay special attention daily to messages and newsletters from your child’s teacher so your child can be ready for each class event! To encourage perfect attendance, we are announcing an attendance campaign starting Monday for every student from May 20 to May 31! Every student who ATTENDS ALL 10 DAYS WITH NO TARDIES and NO EARLY-CHECKOUTS will receive a prize! For students taking the EOGs with perfect attendance in grades 3, 4, and 5, they will also be able to participate in an Attendance Celebration event on June 4! At the Attendance Celebration, all students in grades 3, 4, and 5 with perfect attendance will receive one strip of duct tape to tape the school principal, Mr. Williams, to the wall! In addition, these same students will have their name entered into a drawing to be able to throw a pie in the face of our assistant principal, Ms. Ray, or a teacher on their grade level! Our staff knows the value of good attendance and we thank them for their willingness to endure these celebrations! Parents please encourage your child to attend school on time every day until June 7 and especially between May 20 and May 31! We are excited for these last weeks and appreciate your cooperation in supporting excellent attendance! Thank you!
