Smith Elementary Weekly Update
Week of May 15th
Thank you to our Smith PTO and to all of our Smith Families for a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week! It was a wonderful week of appreciation and love for our teachers and staff!
Our Spring Buy One, Get One Book Fair opens tomorrow. Your child can shop during their special time in the Media Center. They can bring cash, OR better yet, set them up an eWallet so they can shop safely and cash-free! We hope you will allow them to shop and stock up on good books for summer reading fun!
PTO is hosting the last meeting of the year on Monday, May 15th, at 6:00 at the school. We'd love to see a big crowd! We'll be sharing a recap of the year, and we'll vote in the 2023-24 PTO Board. We've had such an excellent year—come help us celebrate all we've accomplished. The Book Fair will be open prior to the meeting for parents to shop before the meeting begins!
Tuesday is our Fifth Grade DARE Graduation at 9 am in the gym. We look forward to celebrating our fifth graders who completed this program. We hope you will make plans to attend! Other important information went home this past week with our fifth graders including Fifth Grade Celebration information and other important dates that are quickly approaching. Please read through all of this information and return the required forms. We appreciate your help as we work to make the end of this year memorable for our fifth graders!
Friday is our Kindergarten Reflections Program in the gym at 9 am. Our students have been busy preparing for this special time. Kindergarten families will not want to miss it! Mark your calendar and we will see you on Friday!
