Smith Elementary Weekly Update
Week of May 8th
Thank you to our amazing PTO for another fun night of BINGO! We appreciate everyone who came out and supported our school with this event.
Please remember tomorrow is an Early Release Day and we will dismiss at 11:30 am. Our staff has a Teacher Appreciation luncheon immediately following dismissal, so please make sure you have plans to pick up your child on time.
Teacher Appreciation Week begins this week! Please read below about the different ways you can show your appreciation to our amazing staff!
● On Monday students can show their teachers and staff some love and appreciation with high fives and hugs.
● On Tuesday students are encouraged to bring a sticker for the new water bottle our PTO is providing our staff.
● On Wednesday, students are encouraged to send in one of the teacher’s favorite things!
● On Thursday, students can share a sweet treat, candy, and/or gum with our teachers and staff.
● On Friday, students are encouraged to send in a gift card for the teacher to enjoy!
Thank you for showering our teachers and staff with appreciation during this fun week. Our staff always looks forward to it and is always thankful for your love and appreciation!
Progress Reports are issued on Tuesday. Please look in your Parent Powerschool Account for this important information.
