Smith Elementary Weekly Update
Week of April 17th
Welcome Back! We hope everyone had a safe and restful Spring Break. We are excited to welcome our students and staff back on Monday.
Tuesday Report Cards will be issued. Please be on the lookout for this important information!
Also, Tuesday is Field Day! We are excited to get outside and enjoy some fun activities with our students. Parents and families are invited to attend. Field Day for students in Kindergarten through Second Grades will begin at 8:30 am and finish by 11 am. Third through Fifth Grades will participate beginning at 11:30 and finish by 2:00 pm. Please make sure you send your child to school ready to participate in these outside events and dressed appropriately with athletic shoes and jackets, as needed.
Duty Free Lunch for teachers will take place on Wednesday. Thank you in advance to our PTO volunteers who will be helping provide supervision and coverage during this time for our teachers.
On Friday, our Fifth Grades will be participating in DARE Day in the park. Again, please make sure you send your child to school dressed appropriately for these outside activities.
