Newlin is hoping to partner with Elon University to host a tutoring program. The tutoring program (The Village Project) would be held at Newlin one day a week for 6 sessions beginning in February-April from 5:00-7:00 pm. We would have some of our teachers tutoring, as well as some Elon student volunteers. Parents must provide transportation and they are invited to stay for the tutoring session to learn ways to best work with their child at home. A meal is provided from ABSS cafeterias for students and parents when attending the session. Students will be invited to Barnes and Noble for a book buy with a gift card of $50-$60 dollars to spend after completing the tutoring program. If this is something you are interested in for your child, please let your child's teacher know. If you have other questions, please reach out to the school.
