Today we dedicated our newly paved walking track to our PE teacher, Coach Todd McKInney. Coach McKinney has dedicated 26 years to Newlin and he does so much for Newlin. He has built so many positive relationships with our students and staff and we are thankful to have him apart of the Newlin family.
Newlin skate night will be tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Roll-A-Bout Skating Center, 605 Chapel Hill Rd. Entry fee is $5, cash only. A portion of the proceeds will go towards helping Newlin. Students have to be accompanied by an adult. It will be a lot of fun! We hope you can join us.

Our 2nd quarter awards ceremony will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. ACC, Pre-K, K-2 awards ceremony will begin at 8:15 am. Grades 3-5 awards ceremony will begin at 9:30 am. Your child's teacher will reach out to you if your child will receive an award.

Our Instructional Leadership Team shared some holiday cheer to our staff today. Staff were appreciative to be able to pick something from the hot chocolate/coffee cart, as well as partake in their choice of biscuits/sausage balls. We are thankful for our staff and wish them a Happy Holiday!

We will have Trunk or Treat night on Tues. Oct. 29th from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm in the Whitsett Street parking lot. Students should bring their own trick or treat bag. We are asking for candy donations. If you are able to assist, you can send candy in with your child or bring it to the front office before Tues. Oct. 29th.
