If they meet their academic goals, they can contribute a piece of tape to Principal Horton's hilarious reward!
However, Grove Park recognizes that education encompasses more than just academics. By hosting community nights like Science Night, the school creates an interactive environment that nurtures curiosity and learning. Students are also taught to embrace diversity and show compassion towards others, preparing them to be responsible citizens in an ever-changing world.
It's graduation season and today we'd like to shout out Rachael Harder, fourth-grade teacher at Grove Park Elementary, who has just earned her Master of Arts in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University! 🎓🎉
Congratulations, Ms. Harder, on this incredible achievement! Earning a master's degree while teaching full-time is an amazing feat. We know you will take these advanced skills and apply them to become an even more effective educator and leader.

A Night of Curiosity and Discovery at Grove Park Elementary's Science Night! 🔥 ⚛️
Last night, the school was buzzing with excitement as families explored hands-on science stations thanks to a generous grant from Duke Energy and Morehead Planetarium & Science Center.
Students and parents rotated through interactive activities like:
💻 Determining their fingerprint types
🚀 Constructing paper rockets
⛵ Trying to float as many pebbles as possible in aluminum foil boats
🌺 Making colorful coffee filter flowers, and more!
Williams High School Dream Team and IB led many of the stations and were a fantastic addition to the evening! 👏 In addition to the science stations, Media Specialist Devlin Popham hosted a science-themed read-aloud. Moorehead Planetary representatives, including their robotic pal 🤖 Kelvin, were on hand to greet everyone and answer questions. Alamance Community College also joined in, highlighting different science career pathways awaiting these budding innovators. Dream Team and IB led many of the stations and were a fantastic addition to the evening! 👏

💕 The spirit of kindness has been embraced at Grove Park Elementary this month through the #KindnessMattersNC Challenge!
The Jr. Bulldog's Student Government sponsored a bulletin board and food drive to spread kindness. When students were "caught" doing an act of kindness, their names and acts were added to a displayed heart chain. The Student Government also held a food for our #ABSSCommunity.

🌠 From Principal Brown - "Ms. Karen Carotta is a staple representative at Graham High School. She is the advisor for the National Honor Society and Peer Group Connections. Through her commitment to students, and community, Ms. Carotta organized a blood drive in November. Through continuous efforts, the NHS was able to sign up over 45 donors. We are proud of the time and efforts that Ms. Carotta has put into the Graham community."
