I am proud to be a member of the Grove Park Elementary community!
This will be my tenth year as the principal of Grove Park Elementary, my twelfth year in school leadership and my twenty-eighth year as an educator. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was a middle grades classroom teacher in Alamance-Burlington Schools. I am a graduate from Elon University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Appalachian State University.
It takes a village to raise a child. Parents, teachers, support staff, community and administration all play a part in helping our students meet and exceed our expectations of them. I believe that with the right support and by having high expectations, our students will develop into successful student leaders. Working closely with our teachers, family members and the community, our students can achieve and grow to their highest potential.
I look forward to continue making great relationships with students, staff, parents, and community, who I now consider my extended family. Our school's goal is not only to increase academic achievement, but also to continue to nurture and grow our students to be the best they can be.
