GHS Families,
As some of you may be aware, there is a post circulating, referencing a student being hospitalized and medical staff saying the cause is from mold exposure. At this time, there have been no confirmations to this statement, nor has the administration at GHS been made aware of this. In this same post, it stated that there are crews on site still taking care of mold. The only crews that have visited the campus have been the maintenance department to set thermostats and the carpentry team, which is hanging whiteboards. We appreciate all of those that may be concerned, however, all of our students are comfortably working and learning in each teacher's respective space.
GHS Families,
Do not forget tonight is Spirit Night at Hursey's Bar-B-Q. Come out between 5-8 PM and order your favorite meal. 10% of all orders will go to the GHS PTO. Remember, you have to put your receipt in the box! We hope to see you all there.
Good evening GHS families. Here are a few midweek updates. Our Open House will be held on Wednesday, September 20th from 5-6:30 PM. Families, please come out and meet our staff and also walk your students schedule. There will also be a Title 1 meeting in the auditorium at 5:15 PM. We hope to see you there.
Students, are you interested in school spirit? Do you want to make a difference? Sign up for student council interest meeting tomorrow during your lunch.
Also, boy's basketball information session and workout will be held tomorrow afternoon directly after school at 3:45 PM. For those interested please meet Coach Q at the auxiliary gym.
GHS families,
Good evening. We understand with the beginning of school there are a lot of kinks to work out with transportation. The Graham Zone is currently down drivers, causing our bus team to double up on routes. As we continue to find the most efficient system to support our students, we ask for your patience and understanding. GHS will have an administrator onsite always, until all students are safely offsite. Thank you families for all that you do.
Good evening GHS families. This is Principal Joshua Brown with some important back to school updates. Tomorrow, our campus will open to students at 11 and school will begin at 11:45. Students that drive to school need to park in the parking lot next to the gymnasium. This is also where parents should drop off in the mornings. Not at the Main Office. Students should not congregate in bathrooms. Students can go to the cafeteria, Fine Arts Lobby or Senior Square area until the 11:45 bell. At that time, everyone will report to their Homeroom class, which is also known as Success Academy at 11:45. Any student that has a CTEC class tomorrow will report to the Media Center. Buses are not taking students to CTEC on tomorrow. They will however take students on Tuesday. When classes end each period, students are to transition out the rear doors of A,B,C and D Building. This helps us control congestion. If your student is not registered for school, they will need to report to the Auditorium Lobby, where we have staff members ready to assist. As a reminder, the buses will run on the delay schedule. Please have patience as our drivers also pick up the elementary and middle school students as well. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Remember that everyday is a great day to be a Red Devil.
GHS Family. Please see the schedule for Monday (9/11/2023). We look forward to seeing everyone on campus!
