This past Saturday, our school celebrated Hispanic Family Night, which included dances, live music, food, game, prizes, and local organizations. We invited Alamance Citizens for Drug-Free Communities and Valores. The dance performances were led by Huepa Cultura, and the band was Grupo Nueva Herencia. It was a great time to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Check out the video here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lHGgKE5z-auqL6WBPcw-UE2F4WxZc404/view

GHS families. I would like to be the first to congratulate your student all of their hard work. The state and NCDPI have officially released a notification to let us know that GHS is off of the low performing schools list. This is a great accomplishment and it only goes to show you how hard we have worked over the past year. Our school letter grade has now moved up to a "C". In order to keep this momentum, we will need your help with making sure your student is present at school, ready to learn and equipped with your unwavering support. GHS looks to continue this momentum as our slogan for the year is Expect Greatness and Achieve Excellence. Thank you for all of your help and a big thank you to the staff of GHS for your tireless commitment. Remember that everyday is a great day to be a Red Devil.
