Message: Good evening Graham High School families. We hope everyone has enjoyed their summer break. On August 21, from 5-6 PM, GHS will have an Open House for students to pick up schedules and meet teachers. There will be a freshman orientation from 6:15 until 7:15 PM. Freshman families will have the opportunity to learn important information pertaining to their students' success, as well as meeting GHS support staff. There will be a back to school Title 1 presentation in the auditorium at 5PM and again at 6 PM. We hope to see you there and remember that everyday is a great day to be a Red Devil.

Buenas noches familias de la Escuela Preparatoria Graham. Esperamos que todos hayan disfrutado de sus vacaciones de verano. El 21 de agosto, de 5-6 PM, GHS tendrá una Casa Abierta para que los estudiantes recojan sus horarios y conozcan a los maestros. Habrá una orientación para estudiantes de 9º grado de 6:15 a 7:15 PM. Las familias de los estudiantes de 9º grado tendrán la oportunidad de aprender información importante para el éxito de sus estudiantes, así como conocer al personal de apoyo de GHS. Habrá una presentación del Título 1 de regreso a clases en el auditorio a las 5PM y de nuevo a las 6 PM. Esperamos verlos allí y recuerden que cada día es un gran día para ser un Red Devil.

We are please to announce Graham High CTE Teacher Madison Pierce was named North Carolina New Teacher of the Year for the NC Association of Career and Technical Educators. This award recognizes new CTE teachers who have made significant contributions toward innovative and unique career and technical education programs and shown a professional commitment early in their career. CTE is proud to support Madison as she moves on to the ACTE Region II awards.

NCCU is currently offering a virtual option for students to earn a stipend this summer for those who aren't able to attend in-person. NCCU is offering workshops Monday-Friday at 10am and 2pm (Students are only required to attend 1 each day).
Students who attend atleast 10 sessions will have the opportunity to go on a trip to Carowinds with us on August 3rd!

Gizmos is an interactive, inquiry-based STEM and Science simulation program designed to engage students in science. It allows students to explore concepts, analyze data, and dive deeper into topics that might not be possible in a traditional science classroom. We use Gizmos in grades 5-12 here in ABSS.

Congratulations to Malaya. She was accepted into the Power of Dreams cohort. Malaya will have the chance to intern with some of the top fashion designer companies, when she arrives on campus at N.C. A&T for the fall. Super proud moment.
