We are looking forward to seeing our E.M. Holt Wildcats tomorrow on the first day of school! Please remember the morning program opens at 6:45 a.m. and dismisses children to their classrooms or breakfast at 7:30 am. Students not enrolled in the before school program may arrive after 7:20a.m. and wait in the pit area. Our E.M. Holt staff will begin unloading car riders in the car rider line at 7:30. All students should be in their classroom by 7:50 a.m. If you are planning to walk your child into school on the first day, please be sure to only park in the designated areas.
Parents in an effort to make our car rider line go smoothly in the mornings, please make sure that your child is ready with their bookbag in hand and ready to exit to car from the passenger side when you pull up to the cone. For safety, all students should unload from the passenger side. Please do not go around other cars that are unloading.
In the afternoon, students will be dismissed at 2:35. Please be sure that you display your car rider tag and if you need a car rider tag, let our staff know.
Kindergarten families your child will attend on their assigned staggered entry day and then all kindergarten students will return to school on Friday. Kindergarten families if you have not already completed the afternoon transportation survey link on the school website please do so. Additionally, if your child is a bus rider, you must be present for the driver to drop them off in the afternoon. Kindergarten families, we will be hosting a Meet the Teacher event just for kindergarten on Thursday, September 1st so that you can meet your child's teacher. This is a great time to bring your child's school supplies.
ABSS is using a new app to communicate with families. If you have not already downloaded the ABSS app please be sure to add it. You can find it linked on the bottom of our webpage.
