Good Evening Wildcat Families,
This week we celebrate School Bus Driver Appreciation Week. During this week we will recognize the hard work and dedication of our bus drivers. E.M. Holt would love to show our appreciation to our drivers by creating baskets filled with goodies. If you are able to donate the following: cards, small gifts, gift cards, etc., we would love to place them into baskets and present them to our drivers on Friday, February 14th. We would appreciate all donations being sent in by Thursday, February 13th. There will be many items sent in so please be sure to mark that your gift is for our bus drivers so that we can get them to the correct location.
Any fourth and fifth grade students that are interested in participating in Singing Wildcats should meet in the music room at 7:20 on Monday and Wednesday mornings beginning Monday, February 10th. Please make sure you have completed the Singing Wildcats Information Form .
This week we have our 100th day celebration on Thursday, February 13th. Show off your 100th day spirit by dressing like you are 100 years old or wearing your 100th day spirit attire.
We are now into the third nine weeks. It is critical that all students are on time and present for school. Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note. All students should be in class by 7:50.
For parents and visitors that are driving on campus during the school day please remember to drive slowly and be cautious. Our students and staff use the crosswalk area to walk to and from the front playground and it is important that you watch for students and staff that may be crossing.
For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria. Currently our school owes $491 for unpaid lunches. Please be sure to go online and pay your child’s lunch balance online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/
Yearbooks are now on sale for $23. To order a yearbook, parents need to go to www.yearbookforever.com . Be sure to type in the school name, Holt and order from there.

February 17th PTO Skate Night
February 18th Hearing Screening- The hearing screening will be for K, 1st, 3rd and 5th grade students. Please remember in order for your child to participate in the hearing screenings you will need to opt in within the forms section in Powerschool.
February 19th Check In Testing Begins
The PTO will be hosting Staff Snack Day on Thursday, February 20th. Please help us fill the workroom with snacks for the staff. All items should be individually wrapped. Please sign up if you'd be willing to donate. All items will need to be dropped off at the front office by Wednesday, February 19th. Thank you for helping us show our staff some love this month!

We will be hosting Family PE Night on Monday, March 3rd. Kindergarten through second grade will begin at 5pm and third through fifth grade will begin at 6pm.
We will be hosting a Talent Show Night in mid-March. If your child is interested in participating in the talent show please sign up using the link. An interest form was sent out via Dojo.
