Wildcat Weekly Update-Week of January 19th

Good Afternoon Wildcat Families,

We are now into the third nine weeks. It is critical that all students are on time and present for school.   Remember if your child is out that you need to submit an absence note using the link on the school website to upload your note.

This week we have the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, January 20th and there is no school.

Tuesday, January 21st and Wednesday, January 22nd are teacher workdays and there is no school for students.

All students should return back to school on Thursday, January 23rd.

On Thursday, January 23rd fifth grade students that have permission will participate in the vision screening.  If you are a fifth grade parent you will have to opt in within the forms section in  Powerschool for your child to participate.

On Friday, January 24th report cards will be emailed to parents to the email address on file.

As a reminder we will begin unloading car riders at 7:20. All students should be in class by 7:50.    Please be sure your child is ready and prepared to unload in the morning.   If you enter the line after this time you are tardy and you will need to walk your child in and sign them in.

If you need to change your child’s transportation information for the day, please be sure to complete the transportation change form on the school website prior to 2pm. Remember early check outs are considered a tardy.    If you are picking up your child in the car rider line please make sure you have your car rider tag displayed.  If you need a car rider tag please call the front office.

For parents and visitors that are driving on campus during the school day please remember to drive slowly and be cautious.  Our students and staff use the crosswalk area to walk to and from the front playground and it is important that you watch for students and staff that may be crossing.

For parents and visitors coming to have lunch please remember that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the cafeteria.

We currently have  six hundred and seventy-two dollars in lunch debt from unpaid school lunches.  Please be sure to go online and pay your child’s lunch balance online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com/

We encourage all families to complete the free and reduced lunch application.  Even if your child qualified in the past, you must complete the form each year.    You can complete the free and reduced lunch application  online at   https://www.lunchapplication.com/

Looking ahead to the next few weeks:
